Get excited for Bill Cosby’s Keswick Theater show by watching him groove to Philly’s Sweet Lights (tickets onsale today)

OK, not exactly. The Cos was not actually listening to Sweet Lights while busting the dance moves you see below. It’s entirely possible that he’s not familiar with the infectious pop-rock hooks of Shai Halperin’s latest musical project. But mixing up an iconic Philly comic and a contemporary Philly musician was such a well-played, insanely satisfying video concept, that the announcement of Bill Cosby’s appearance at The Keswick Theater next spring is reason enough to resurrect the clip. Watch it below; if you haven’t already seen it, you’re in for a treat. And get your mouse-clicking fingers ready, since tickets go on sale at noon today for Bill Cosby’s appearance at the Keswick Theater on Sunday, April 3, at 3 p.m.

We featured Sweet Lights in a My Morning Download last week; you can download that song here. Below, listen to my favorite sketch from Bill Cosby’s mid-60s stand-up era.
