Tonight’s Concert Pick: Blackalicious at World Cafe Live at the Queen

They had a ten-year break between 2005’s The Craft and last year’s Imani Vol. 1, but Sacramento hip hop duo Blackalicious is back, and in grinding mode once again. MC Gift of Gab told fans last year that Imani was the first part of a trilogy that will be released over the next few years. Portland metal four-piece Red Fang unleash havoc at Underground Arts tonight. With the huge success of their full length Whales and Leeches, Red Fang toured extensively this year, bringing their heavy, badass brand of music around the country and world.
