Catfish and the Bottlemen, a Welsh indie rock band, headline Communion Philly this month. Earlier this year, the group released their first single, “Kathleen and the Other Three.” The band has recently gotten the seal of approval from BBC 1’s Zane Lowe (the same Zane Lowe who first introduced the Arctic Monkeys). Communion is held the first Thursday of every month at Underground Arts and serves to bring international and local artists together. Other bands performing include Philly locals Katie Frank and the Pheromones, Tutlie and XPN’s Communion artist for June, Dirty Dollhouse. Get more information at the XPN Concert Calender.
