Twenty six years ago Wisconsin roots rockers BoDeans released their T-Bone Burnett produced debut album Love & Sex & Hope & Dreams. Singer-songwriters Kurt Neumann and Sam Llanas formed the band and had a string of successful albums throughout the Eighties and Nineties. They had a big hit song with “Closer To Free” when it became the theme song to the television series Party Of Five. Today, BoDeans are still going strong, however Llamas left the band last year. Under the direction of Neumann, the band return with a new album called American Made on June 12th. Lyrically it is about songwriter Neumann’s experiences growing up in the blue-collar Midwest. The band play at World Cafe Live on Sunday, August 26th. Go here for tickets and information about the show. Below, download “All The World” from BoDeans’ forthcoming album.
