XPN favorite Amos Lee to play Music Box at the Borgata in May, tickets on sale tomorrow

Amos Lee, the soul-singing folkhead who got his start being played on XPN in the mid-2000’s, has announced a show at The Music Box at the Borgata and tickets go on sale tomorrow.

Amos Lee’s most recent album Mountains Of Sorrow, Rivers Of Song was released back in 2013, and he and his band are touring to support Live At Red Rocks which was recorded back in August of 2014 and released last year in June. They will be bringing their old-soul rock and roll to The Music Box on May 14th, which is sure to bring down the house. Continue reading →

Tonights Concert Picks: Counting Crows / The Wallflowers at The Borgata, Bronze Radio Return at World Cafe Live

90’s alt-rockers Counting Crows are bringing their great live show to The Borgata in Atlantic City tonight. Their last musical endeavor was a 2012 album of covers titled Underwater Sun. Below, check out a video of the band’s South by Southwest cover of “You Ain’t Going Nowhere” by Bob Dylan. Speaking of Dylan, his son Jakob’s band The Wallflowers will be joining the Counting Crows on tour. Watch the music video for the single “Love is a Country” off of their latest album, 2012’s Glad All Over.

John Mayer embarking on his first tour in three years; playing SBC, Allentown, AC in August

This just in from Billboard.com: John Mayer announced his first tour in three years in support of his 2012 LP Born and Raised. He heads out this summer and makes three regional appearances; at Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden on August 23rd; at The Great Allentown Fair on August 27th; and the Borgata in Atlantic City on September 1st. Onsale information for all of these shows will be announced shortly.
