Tonight’s Concert Picks: Crooked Fingers at Johnny Brenda’s, Quarry Street Hymnal at World Cafe Live, Slingshot Dakota with Saintseneca at The Barbary, The Lemonheads with Birdie Busch at the Capitol Theater

Nomadic rock outfit Crooked Fingers comes to Johnny Brenda’s tonight.  Led by Eric Bachmann, Crooked Fingers is the sometimes-solo, sometimes-full-band project of the former Archers of Loaf lead singer.  Currently touring in support of his 2011 album Breaks in the Armor, Bachmann spent recent months with his former bandmates for an Archers of Loaf reunion tour coinciding with the re-release of the 1990s band’s discography.  Tonight’s show will feature Bachmann and a full band alongside John Vanderslice.  Tickets for the 21+ show are $15 here, doors are at 8:00 p.m. and the show will begin at 9:15 p.m.  Below, watch a rooftop video for “Your Apocalypse” off of Breaks in the Armor.
