Watch Delorean’s New Music Video for “Unhold” (playing Johnny Brenda’s 1/26)

Barcelona dance pop outfit Delorean recently released their fourth album Apar back in September. A little more calm than their previous releases, Apar still delivers on the grand pop front, sounding epic and catchy. Originally planning an October / November US tour, the members of Delorean were kidnapped and taken hostage in Mexico for about thirty hours. After this experience, the band cancelled their original string of US tour dates and reschedule for early next year. In addition to this personal news, Delorean just released a visual-bending music video for the single “Unhold” featuring Chairlift‘s Caroline Polachek. The song is led by Polachek’s wonderful voice, with backing bass lines and synthesizers that make for a warm and blissful track. Watch the video below for some excellent visual accompaniment featuring Polachek wandering through a shapeshifting sculpture park in New York. Pick up Apar here, and find tickets to their show at Johnny Brenda’s here.
