Tonight’s Concert Pick: Crispin Hellion Glover at The Interational House

Crispin Hellion GloverWhere to begin with Crispin Hellion Glover? Suing the producers of Back To The Future Part II for using his likeness in the film without first obtaining his permission? His bewildering, karate-kick-filled appearance on Late Night With David Letterman? For releasing the 1989 album The Big Problem ? The Solution. The Solution = Let It Be, which included his home phone number in the liner notes and encouraged listeners to call him after figuring out the puzzle on the back cover? Sadly, the enigmatic actor/author/musician/filmmaker won’t be performing any songs from The Big Problem during his appearance tonight at The International House. He will, however, be performing “Big Slide Show Part 1,” a “one-hour dramatic narration of eight different profusely illustrated books.” (A screening of Glover’s 2007 film It is fine! EVERYTHING IS FINE! will follow the performance.) Crispin Hellion Glover performs at 6:30 p.m. at The International House; tickets to the 18+ show are SOLD OUT.
