After releasing Sports last year, Modern Baseball kept the ball rolling in 2013 by signing to Run For Cover Records, touring all this past summer, and releasing a split with The Hundred Acre Woods. Now, Modern Baseball has announced their next album You’re Gonna Miss It All, which is due out February 11 via Run For Cover Records.

Truly a Philadelphia production, the album was produced by Modern Baseball’s own Ian Farmer and Jake Ewald, mixed by Philadelphia’s Jon Low, and mastered by Will Yip at Studio 4. Listen to “Your Graduation,” the first single off the album, below. Like most Modern Baseball material, it is instantly catchy and has a great chorus. Unlike Sports, however, the song is less polished, adding a sense of grittiness that and even a bit of yelling. Keep an eye out for the album, and catch up on Sports below while you wait for the new record.

Catch Modern Baseball at the TLA on 12/30 with Man Overboard, Real Friends, Young Statues, and Fireworks or at The Electric Factory on 4/12 with The Wonder Years, Defeater, Citizen, and Real Friends.

Pop-punk heavyweights The Wonder Years announced a spring tour in support of their 2013 LP The Greatest Generation that kicks off March 5 in New York, and lands at the Electric Factory April 12. It’s the biggest hometown headlining show to date for the Philly-area sextet. Joining Wonder Years are bands Defeater, Citizen, Real Friends and Modern Baseball, and the stacked tour promises to be everything you’d expect from the local punk powerhouse, with some surprises up the band’s sleeve.

The Wonder Years are also offering solo Acoustic VIP Session bundle tickets, which include a GA ticket to the show, an acoustic set and Q&A with TWY before doors, along with an autographed silk screened poster (and more). Tickets for the VIP package are on sale here. Regular GA tickets for the April 12 Electric Factory show go on sale Friday, December 13 at 12 p.m.. Get ticket info here.
