Deftones bring new LP Gore to Festival Pier this summer

An expanded world tour for Deftones includes an August 6th show at Festival Pier. The California metal band will release its eighth studio record Gore next week, which features lead single “Prayers/Triangles.” Along with follow-up single “Doomed User,” the track is on the subtler end of alternative metal with exceptionally smooth production and spacey instrumentation. York County indie pop group Kingsfoil is playing at World Cafe Live tonight. Kingsfoil became a band to watch after the 2007 release of their EP, Bear In The Attic. Their second full-length album, A Beating Heart Is A Bleeding Heart came out in September after adding Frankie Muniz to the crew on drums.
