Just Announced: Get ready to rage with Mastodon at the Electric Factory

On May 6th a slew of metal / rock bands will descend on the outdoor stage of the Electric Factory for a day-long, international mini-fest. Originally a co-headlining gig for Sweden’s Opeth and France’s Gojira, the one-off event line-up now also features Atlanta heavyweights Mastodon, California’s Eagles of Death Metal, Canada’s Devin Townsend Project, and Chicago’s post-rock/metal duo Russian Circles.

California rockers Eagles of Death Metal have added dates to their spring U.S. tour, including a show at The Trocadero on June 3rd,  Founded by Jesse Hughes and Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme, the band released its fourth studio album Zipper Down last year.

The Dean Ween Group covers “I Love You All The Time” for Eagles of Death Metal charity

In the wake of the devastating attacks in Paris last month, Eagles of Death Metal have asked fellow musicians to cover their song “I Love You All The Time” so royalties can be donated to The Sweet Stuff Foundation in aid of the victims’ families. My Morning Jacket performed the song at a concert in Brooklyn over the weekend, and now The Dean Ween Group have released their own cover.
