Dogfish Head’s Analog-A Go-Go music fest took things to a new level in its sixth year, moving the event to Bellevue State Park in Wilmington, DE and taking over the park in with its unique combination of live music, craft beer, vinyl and art. A diverse offering of local and national acts was a bold move for a festival in its first large effort- with headliners Built To Spill (a Dogfish favorite) supported by Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Taleb Kweli, Hop Along, Beach Slang and Fiancé.  Continue reading →

Fiancé release summery new video for “Climb the Stairs”

Fiancé‘s new video for “Climb the Stairs,” premiered this week on Wondering Sound, documents a group of friends enjoying what is perhaps the last house party of the summer.  The band is playing in the living room while the fire pit is sparking on the deck, shenanigans are happening in the kitchen and kids are throwing in a last-ditch effort to make some memories.  “Climb the Stairs” is taken from the Newark, DE’s debut EP1 and follows the video for “Era.”

Newark newcomers Fiance engage listeners’ souls on “Era”

Hailing from Newark, Delaware, Fiancé is an indie pop four-piece with a positive energy. They recently released their debut, EP1, earlier this month, and it caught the attention of Stereogum, which premiered the track “Era” and raved “The track is bookended by a colossal vocal loop of a hook written by Fusca…and sung by his sister, manipulated until the words can’t quite be made out, but the raw emotion shines through.” Continue reading →
