Following Tuesday’s post detailing the Philadelphia Tribute to The Last Waltz event that will feature over two dozen local musicians and benefit Philadelphia school children, it has been announced that Garth Hudson, a founding member of The Band, will join in the benefit show.  Hudson was The Band’s keyboardist / organist / saxophonist and, after the dissolution of the group, has maintained a steady solo career.  Tickets and information for the November 30th show at The Trocadero can be found here.  Proceeds will benefit Philadelphia school children through four organizations.  Below, watch Hudson perform at his Songs of The Band tribute show.
