Meet Goones: Philadelphia’s musical painter

There isn’t a set criteria into making art. As long as the creator is using their medium to express themself in some way, the creation could be considered art. Philadelphia’s Goones takes an artist approach to music on his new album Healing. The project of songwriter and electronic musician Sean Negron, Goones blends dream pop, synth pop, and alternative dance like different color paint on an abstract mural. When you listen to the album, you can barely hear what’s being said by Goones, but the sound he incorporates creates a transcendent picture filled with different types of colors and shapes.
