In a three part statement on Instagram, Armstrong thanked fans for their support.

Dear friends
I just wanted to thank you all for the love support you’ve showed for the past few months. Believe me, it hasn’t gone unnoticed and I’m eternally grateful to have such an amazing set of friends and faimly. I’m getting better every day. So now, without further ado, the show must go on.. We can’t wait to get on the road and live out loud! Our passion has only grown stronger.

Green Day have announced their upcoming ¡UNO!, ¡DOS!, ¡TRÉ! tour. The band play Philly on Tuesday, January 22nd at the Liacouras Center at Temple University. Green Day fan club members have the chance of purchasing pre=sale tickets this Wednesday, September 12th at 10AM. Go here for more information. Green Day are releasing a trilogy of albums; Green Day ¡Uno!, Green Day ¡Dos!, and Green Day ¡Tré!. ¡Uno! will be released by Reprise Records on September 25th followed by ¡Dos! on November 13th and ¡Tré! on January 15th, 2013.
