Groovy Movies to take 1960s-inspired psychedelic rock to the Pharmacy on December 12th

We recently introduced you to Groovy Movies, the new solo recording project of Nick Carlisi, formerly of The Tough Shits. From the band’s name alone, you can immediately detect a certain 1960s nostalgia. This influence becomes even more apparent on the tracks from the group’s self-titled debut, which are heavily inspired by the psychedelic rock of ’60s powerhouses The Beach Boys and The Beatles.
