Multi-instrumentalist Aidan Baker performs in the First Unitarian Church Side Chapel tonight. Working both as a solo musician and as a member of Nadja, ARC and Mnemosyne, Baker is an incredibly prolific composer of experimental / drone post-rock and often improvises during live shows. On April 15th Baker will release Already Drowning via Gizeh Records. The album departs from Baker’s previously free-form musical structures and approaches the singer-songwriter line while still being ambient and doom-y. Tickets and information for tonight’s all-ages show with Insect Ark and Harm Wulf can be found here. Below, stream the title track to Already Drowning.
