My Morning Download: “Puppets Dangling” by Jacco Gardner

Jacco+Gardner++video+shoot Today’s download is Dutch multi-instrumentalist and producer Jacco Gardner from his wonderful debut album, Cabinet of Curiosities. The album is a modern take on baroque pop from the 1960s with some sweet touches of psychedelia. Playing almost all the instruments himself except drums, his sense of well crafted arrangements bring to mind the ornate songs by groups like The Left Banke and The Zombies and producers like Brian Wilson and Van Dyke Parks. Below, download “Puppets Dangling.”
