The Made In Philly Festival provides an all-local answer to Made in America at The Blockley August 30th

aktivepics-14-of-201Noticing that no Philadelphia artists were featured on this year’s Made In America lineup, promoter Earl Chandler collaborated with DJ Aktive to throw their own festival. Made In Philly features 17 up-and-coming hip-hop, R&B and pop names including Bones, Jade Alston, Chase Allen, and Frenchie. It goes down at The Blockley on August 30; that’s the night before Made in America kicks off, so you’ll be able to take in the best of both worlds. Find tickets and more information about the festival’s lineup here. Watch Bones’ video for “You Wear It Well” below.
