Merry Christmas from The Roots, Jimmy Fallon, Mariah Carey and some really cute kids

Even if you despise holiday music, we still think there’s a lot to like about this video. The sweaters are great. Mariah sounds inspired. Fallon is in typical “I love my job” mode. Questlove looks like he’s having more fun than the kids and is using his hair pic as an instrument. And the kids are adorable. Want more jingle in your jangle? Head on over to Jingle Jams, our 24-7 all holiday music channel here.

Do you want to watch Jimmy Fallon beatbox over The Roots’ undun? Probably not, but here it is anyway.

From Consequence Of Sound:

During last night’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, good ol’ J-Fal proved he’s not only got dope mic skills, but mad freestyling and beat-boxing skills that somehow ended up on the cutting floor of The Roots’ latest LP, undun. If you’re wondering why you can’t hear him on the album, the clip, particularly ?uestlove’s facial expressions, tell the tale.

It starts off as painful as you’d expect, and then it just keeps going.
