Native Philadelphian Joey Sweeney has been writing songs and playing music since the 80s. Though he has gone through many iterations (including The Barnabys, The Trouble With Sweeney, and Arctic Splash, as well as solo work), his brand-new project Joey Sweeney & the Neon Grease is already making quite the impact. Singer-songwriter Joey Sweeney has been a familiar presence in the Philly music scene since the 80’s, and from solo efforts to his earlier projects such as The Barnabys and The Trouble With Sweeney to publishing cityblog Philebrity.com the Philly native has worn many different hats over the years.
