Jonathan Rado of Foxygen releases second single, “Hand In Mine” from debut solo project (Foxygen playing Union Transfer 10/4)

jonradoJonathan Rado, one half of critically-acclaimed duo Foxygen, announced last month that he is releasing his first solo record, Law and Order, in the fall. Today he’s premiered the second single from that LP, called “Hand In Mine.” Keeping consistent with Rado’s previous work, in and out of Foxygen, the song has a delightful sense of nostalgia to it, and along with the previously-released single “Faces”, promises a strong showing on his solo debut. For anyone worried that Rado’s solo-endeavor means the end of Foxygen, fear not (at least not yet): they’ll be heading back out on tour this fall, and will be coming to Philly on October 4th for a show at Union Transfer. Find tickets and info here, and listen to “Hand In Mine” below via Soundcloud.
