Last night at Union Transfer, the Jose Gonzalez-fronted Junip brought its folk-infused, majestically arranged indie rock to Philly, on tour in support of its self-titled latest LP. Opening the show was Philadelphia songwriter and singer Birdie Busch and her band, who released the equally folky / vibey Birdie Busch and the Greatest Night earlier this year.
