Kwasi Ohene-Ayeh fosters community with The Village Open Mic series

Beginning Thursday, September 29th, Ghanaian artist Kwasi Ohene-Ayeh will continue his monthly open-mic series in Ile Ife Park. The series comes as part of his SPACES residency at the Village of Arts and Humanities, an organization dedicated to amplifying the voices of young artists in North Philadelphia communities. Combining music, dance, and poetry, the event will also include featured performers EmyneYA and The Means, as well as food & drink from local chefs. Continue reading →
