Indie-pop quartet Free Cake for Every Creature plays tonight at World Cafe Live. The Philly-based group released their first full length album, Talking Quietly With You, last April. La Santa Cecilia to play free concert at World Cafe Fiesta on 10/29

The Latin Roots spotlight on NPR’s World Cafe will make its first journey to the stage this month with the free World Cafe Fiesta on October 29th. Mexican-American band La Santa Cecilia will liven up World Cafe Live with their unique mix of Latin culture and rock n’ roll. The band’s multicultural appeal has established them as a force to be reckoned with in world music. Rock legend Elvis Costello featured lead vocalist, La Marisoul, on his latest album, Wise Up Ghost.
