With their avant-folk influences, Delaware Water Gap-based Lewis & Clarke take you on a instrumental adventure in their Castle Inn Session. The black-and-white recording showcased tracks from Lewis & Clarke’s latest release, Triumvirate. The half-hour session opens with the eight-minute “Black Cloud,” blending the clear-cut vocals of Lou Rogai and classic, jazz percussion influences.  Continue reading →

Shaking Through releases new episode with Lewis & Clarke

This month’s Shaking Through session is a moving episode featuring Pennsylvania’s Lewis & Clarke, the musical project of Lou Rogai.  The installment was curated by Strand of Oaks’ Tim Showalter, a Shaking Through alum himself from 2010.
