Line Leader don’t burst our bubble with new DIY track “Bubblegum”

While the guys in Line Leader continue working on their first full length since 2014’s Seeds, they gave us a preview of what’s to come by sharing one of the new songs on their Bandcamp page last week. The Philly lo-fi trio served up “Bubblegum,” a not so sugary sweet track unlike its goopy, pastel namesake. The bare bones song features a washed out, beach vibe overtop somewhat sinister lyrics (“Nobody noticed when the sickness came creepin’ back in / By your diagnosis I’ll be sleeping in the house of sin tonight.”) Continue reading →
