XPN welcomes Erin McKeown to Johnny Brenda’s tonight. The singer-songwriter released MANIFESTRA through her own label TVP Records last week, an album featuring friends Anais Mitchell, David Wax Museum, Ryan Montbleau and Polly Paulusma. MANIFESTRA continues to blend the singer-songwriter’s many-faceted influences, from swing to pop to rock. Aside from being a musician, McKeown is a political activist and was chosen to be a 2011-2012 fellow at Harvard University’s Berkman Center for Internet and Society. Tickets and information for tonight’s 21+ show with Jenn Grant can be found here. Stream “The Jailer” from MANIFESTRA below.
