Ah, Human BBQ, the sweet celebration of music and roasting flesh (or at least hot dogs) took over Pilam again this year, with 17 bands playing the UPenn frat house between noon and midnight. Pi Lam’s Human BBQ lineup is stacked and we’re stoked

The 37th annual Human BBQ festival fast approaches and the event looks killer. Hosted by Penn fraternity Pi Lambda Phi, the event boasts 21 bands in the lineup, including Philly punk groups Mischief Brew, DRGN KING, and Slow Animal among a slew of others. The event will also have plenty of food for consumption, including your typical barbecue items as well as vegetarian and vegan options. Slingshot Dakota, Trophy Wife, +HIRS+ playing Two-Piece Fest 8 at PiLam

In its unique dedication to musicians who come in duos, Two-Piece Fest has announced the lineup for its eighth annual show. The daylong DIY-scene show was created by Philly natives Peter Helmis of Algernon Cadwallader and Craig Woods of Towers. They established TPF back in 2007 for their own two-person collaboration, Peter & Craig. This year’s show will take place on February 14th at Pilam in West Philly. Continue reading →
