With her old family band Sisters 3 somewhat in a state of dormancy, singer and songwriter Annachristie Sadler launched a new solo project this year that she’s calling Murchant. With a recent appearance at The Tin Angel under her belt the other week – and an upcoming show on Marc 22 at Puck in Doylestown with Rev. T.J. McGlilnchey – today we find Murchant in the Metropolitan Avenue-Grand Street stop of the G Line on New York City’s Metro system. Videographer Luciana Botelho stumbled upon Sadler busking, strumming in a fervent manner and singing in her distinctivly elastic voice, and shot a video of her performing a song; check it out here, and find more information on Murchant’s Puck date here.
