Tonight’s Concert Pick: Cruisr at The Barbary

Philly indie pop favs CRUISR come home tonight when they play The Barbary. They most recently released “Take That,” a glimmery but defiant summer tune, and rerecorded B-side “The Fritz.” Anyone who has kept tabs on the local music scene in recent years probably knows how fun these guys are — it’s what’s gotten them opening gigs with Imagine Dragons, Misterwives, and PVRIS. Sarah McLachlan playing The Mann on July 24th

Singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan, whose 1991 sophomore album Solace set the Lilith Fair generation in motion, is playing The Mann on Thursday, July 24th. Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 8th at 10 a.m. McLachlan releases a new album, Shine On, on May 6th. Shine On is her first since 2010’s Laws of Illusion and her debut for Verve Records. She worked on the album with her longtime collaborator and producer Pierre Marchand. Go here for tickets and more information.
