Tear up Milkboy Philly’s dance floor tonight with Philly electro-pop trio Les Professionnels. The group, whose hot new EP Move dropped earlier this month, is available here. This year’s Roots 4th of July Jam takes place a day early and features rapper Talib Kweli with Ground Up, Khemist, Mazon, and Lee Mazin. The show starts at 8 p.m. at the TLA; tickets to the all-ages show are $22.
Making Time RADio host Dave P. gets the July 4th festivities underway this evening with the Making Time “You’re Welcome America” RAD-B-Q with Tanlines at the Bamboo Bar. The 21+ event starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door.

Get ready for fake palm trees, fishbowls, burgers, hot dogs, Little Baby’s ice cream, and more! DJ’s during the night include Dave P with Sammy Slice as well as an extra special live performance from Brooklyn’s Tanlines.
