Watch The Luyas perform “Fifty Fifty” for a Buzzsession (playing PhilaMOCA tonight)

Montreal indie rockers The Luyas recorded a Buzzsession for the Wild Honey Pie last fall, taking their song “Fifty Fifty” to the Brooklyn studio space Degraw Sound shortly before releasing their latest Animator full-length.  With waves of Metric and Arcade Fire, vocalist Jessie Stein’s gently hushed lyrics seem to float through a dream with an eerily intimate purpose.  Tonight The Luyas will open for Julian Lynch alongside Lux Perpetua at PhilaMOCA ; tickets and information can be found here.  Watch the video for “Fifty Fifty” below.

Just Announced: Julian Lynch and The Luyas coming to PhilaMOCA on 6/10
