Louisville, KY act White Reaper are about a quarter of the way through their massive summer tour, which stops at MilkBoy tonight. The quartet is on the road in support of this spring’s The World’s Best American Band – a collection of affected, infectious classic rock revival. Here’s a doubleheader blast from the past! Legendary outfits Blondie and Garbage are joining forces for a summer fling dubbed The Rage and Rapture Tour, and today they’ve announced an August 2nd date at The Mann. Debbie and Shirley will be touring behind new records with their respective bands, the former with the also-just-announced Pollinator (out May 5th) and the latter with last year’s triumphant Strange Little Birds return.
Jason Isbell has announced a summer tour that includes a stop at The Mann‘s Skyline Stage on July 29th. The string of dates coincides with the release of Isbell’s fifth solo record Something More Than Free, which follows up 2013’s acclaimed Southeastern LP. Tickets and information for the all-ages, outdoor concert will be available here on May 8th. German electropop duo Milky Chance just announced a tour this summer, following a winter North American run that sold out almost immediately. They’ll be playing the Skyline Stage at the Mann Center on July 28th.

New Jersey rockers The Gaslight Anthem bring their new record Get Hurt to The Mann Center‘s Skyline Stage tonight. Released earlier this year, Get Hurt follows the band’s 2012 LP Handwritten with a retuned style and updated aesthetic. What was previously all retro and throwback rock to the early days of Springsteen is now modernized, though the group’s blue collar, everyman stories are still present. Chicago alt-rocke four-piece Veruca Salt will be at TLA tonight. The band reunited after a fifteen year (too) long hiatus, and have been touring all around the U.S. About a month ago, they released a new single titled “It’s Holy,” which you can hear below. Philly’s favorite jam band, The Disco Biscuits, recently announced their 3-day City Bisco from September 25-27. Their first stop will be the Trocadero on the 25th, the Electric Factory on the 26th, and the Mann on the 27th. A limited amount 3-day passes will go on sale today at NOON. In the wake of two instantly sold-out shows in Philadelphia last week, Neutral Milk Hotel have announced a tour extension that brings them back to town for a show at The Mann on July 21st. Jeff Mangum and his band released two studio albums in the 90s that reached the height of their popularity after the band’s dissolution, but they have been back in the spotlight since Mangum’s recent solo tours, despite no new material since 1998. Tickets will go on sale February 7th; more information will be available here.
