The Indie Rock Hit Parade is BACK tonight at 11pm with an all new show (following last week’s time-traveling diversion). Tune in for a mix of hot-off-the-presses tracks and a few moldy old favorites thrown in for good measure. Tonight we close out a phenomenally fun year of the Indie Rock Hit Parade on XPN! Before we break for a brief hibernation, we’ve got a zinger of a show to share tonight at 10pm. We’ll hear an Indie Rock Hit Parade Live Session with the Philly/NYC band Swearin’, who just released an awesome new album called Surfing Strange. Plus, we’ll hear a smattering of original and classic indie holiday tunes!
The Mynabirds have a new album coning out on June 5th called Generals on Saddle Creek Records. Fronted by Laura Burhenn, the band is playing at Johnny Brenda’s on Sunday, June 24th with Sean Bones opening the show. Go here for tickets and more information about the show.
