Just Announced: Pete Yorn brings his new band The Olms to the Prince Music Theater on 6/8

the olms

Touring in support of their self-titled debut album, The Olms will play a show at the Prince Music Theater on Saturday, June 8th.  Having known each other for about seven year, singer-songwriter Pete Yorn struck a musical partnership with artist and guitarist JD King in 2012 after wrapping up a long tour for his 2010 solo record.  According to Santa Barbara Magazine, The Olms’ upcoming self-titled effort (slated for a June 4th release through Harvest Recordings) “[melds] the self-ruling sounds of folk, rock, and Brit pop with strummy tracks… [i]nspired by the feel-good vibes of the ’60s and the psychedelic sounds of British Invasion bands like The Animals and The Kinks….”  Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, May 3rd at 10AM at PrinceTheater.org, TicketPhiladelphia or at the Prince Theater box office. Below, stream the lead single from The Olms called “Wanna Feel It.”
