Scranton PA is more than just the fictional home of The Office. It’s also the non-fictional home to the beautiful Montage Mountain, where the Allman Brothers Band-inspired Peach Music Festival has been jamming for seven years now. Scranton’s Peach Festival announces 2017 lineup including Widespread Panic, My Morning Jacket and more

The lineup for 2017’s Peach Festival in Scranton was just announced, and we’ve got ourselves a doozy.

Taking place August 10th through the 13th at Montage Mountain, Widespread Panic (who will be performing two sets) are joined by My Morning Jacket, Gov’t Mule & Friends and Joe Bonamassa as headliners, complemented by sets from Umphrey’s McGee, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Lettuce featuring Chaka Khan and a whole lot more. Lotus, Gov’t Mule and more added to Scranton’s Peach Music Festival (happening 8/15-8/18)

The Allman Brothers have expanded the eclectic line-up for their Peach Music Festival with the addition of local post-rockers Lotus, jam band royalty Gov’t Mule. surfer-songwriter Donavon Frankenreiter.  Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Floodwood, Greensky Bluegrass, Dopapod, Royal Southern Brotherhood, Tauk, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, Cabinet, MIZ and Bill Evan’s Soulgrass round out the list of new acts.  Go here to check out the full line-up and watch Lotus play “Age of Inexperience” live at Red Rocks below.  Tickets and information for the August 15-18 festival at the Toyota Pavilion at Montage Mountain can be found here.

The Peach Music Festival brings The Allman Brothers Band, Grace Potter and more to Scranton (at the Toyota Pavilion on 8/15 to 8/18)

imageNow in its second year, Scranton’s Peach Music Festival is coming back to the Toyota Pavilion at Montage Mountain on August 15th to August 18th.  Presenters and headliners The Allman Brothers Band return for two nights, accompanied by Rat Dog, The Black Crowes, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, Rusted Root and more.  Following last year’s much-loved “Wake Up With Warren” solo set, this year festival-goers will be greeted by “Brunch With Bobby” on the Sunday morning, featuring an acoustic set by Bob Weir.  Head over to the Peach Music Festival website here to view the full line-up (more acts will be announced soon).  Presale tickets will be available tomorrow at 10am, with general tickets going on sale this Friday, February 22nd.  More information can be found here.  Below, watch Gregg Allman perform “Midnight Rider” with Zac Brown Band at last year’s inaugural festival.
