Chicago alt-rocke four-piece Veruca Salt will be at TLA tonight.  The band reunited after a fifteen year (too) long hiatus, and have been touring all around the U.S.  About a month ago, they released a new single titled “It’s Holy,” which you can hear below. Find tickets for the all ages show here. Doors open at 7pm.

Watch Veruca Salt play their first show in 18 years together and download a new song

Last month the Nineties alt-rockers Veruca Salt announced that all four members were reuniting for a tour and to record new music. The band released several songs on Record Store Day and played for the first time together in 18 years on Conan the other night. As Rolling Stone pointed out the band sounded as “crunchy and sludgy as ever.”

The tour starts June 22nd in Portland, and hits Philly on July 22nd at the TLA. Below, watch the performance of their hit song “Seether” on Conan, and download a new song, “The Museum Of Broken Relationships.”

A resurrected Veruca Salt will rock the TLA with its original lineup on July 22nd

All four original members of Nineties alternative rock band Veruca Salt have reunited, are releasing two new songs this Saturday on Record Store Day, and will Philadelphia on July 21st at The TLA. Named after a character in Raold Dahl’s Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, the Chicago based quartet was formed by guitarists and singers Louise Post and Nina Gordon.

Veruca Salt’s Record Store Day release is being released on the band’s first label, Minty Fresh Records, It will feature their career-defining single “Seether,” as well as two new songs, “The Museum of Broken Relationships” and “It’s Holy.” Go here for tickets and more information about the show.
