Ellen Siberian Tiger impressed us with her recent EP,  Red-Blooded Woman, in which singer Ellen Tiberio-Schultz takes a more stripped-down, vulnerable and introspective approach. The three bluesy-folk tracks showcase Tiberio-Schultz skills in crafting acoustic, confessional songs along with noisey wonder punk. Ben Hughes has reached the end of his year-long 12 Albums project and he’s celebrating tonight at Milkboy. For the last eleven months the local musician, who now leads Night Windows, dug into his back catalog of solo and home recordings to dust off some songs never heard before. Earl Sweatshirt playing TLA on 10/8

earlsweatshirt Rapper Earl Sweatshirt is headlining the TLA on Tuesday, October 8th, with special guests Domo Genesis and Vince Staples. Genesis and Sweatshirt are members of Odd Future (OFWGKTL = Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All) hip-hop collective. Staples, who has ties to Odd Future, is a member of the Long Beach rap group Cutthroat Boys. Sweatshirt recently released his excellent debut album, Doris.
