There’s nothing worse than the discerning sense that winter is a timeless black hole and that you will never feel the sun’s warmth again in your life. The best way to pretend that the winter isn’t sucking the life out of you is to channel any summer vibes that you can get your hands on. Watch a video for Walk the Moon’s “Tightrope” (playing The TLA in February)

Energetic art-pop outfit Walk the Moon just announced a date in Philadelphia for February 1st, 2013 at The TLA.  It’s a few months away, but tickets are on sale now for $15 here.  The Ohio band, known for painting their faces during shows (and sharing some of the face paint with fans) released their self-titled major label debut earlier this year following opening-slot gigs for Young the Giant, Local Natives and Kaiser Chiefs.  Watch the band’s brand new video for “Tightrope” below.
