Singer Molly Hamilton’s haunting vocals cry heartbreak, sweeping over flashy guitar riffs and a catchy, melodic beat. Brooklyn’s Widowspeak charmed indie fans with their 2011 self-titled debut and now they’re back with the follow-up record Almanac, out January 22nd on Captured Tracks.  The glow-fi duo shared the first single from Almanac called “Ballad of the Golden Hour” earlier this month, which you can stream and download below.  Tickets for Widowspeak’s 21+ show at Kung Fu Necktie will go on sale at noon this Friday, November 23rd.  More information can be found here.  View the track-list for Almanac below as well.
