Philly native Amanda Blank is back with the latest single from her much-anticipated new project The Ruiner, which she’s been gradually rolling out since 2019. Once-and-forever a deft rapper, the new singles have each shown a different facet of Blank’s musical mind: glamorous pop on “Put Me Out,” and scathing indie-dance on “Oh Man.”

With the new “Love You Again,” you can add brooding Amy Winehouse-esque ballads to the mix — it’s a solitary song set to acoustic strums and aching strings, where Blank sings of giving another person all they had, it not being enough in the end, but yearning to try again.

The moving two-and-a-half minute song was released with a music video directed by Bobby Whigham and shot at Germantown’s Upsala mansion that finds Blank singing and striking pensive poses in the fading sunshine, grasping for comfort in both nature and feather pillow she carries with her.

Watch it below, along with a live version recorded at WXPN Studios for The Key Studio Sessions; check out that whole Key Session here, and keep up with the latest on Ruiner by following Amanda Blank on IG.
