Major Lazer, aka DJs Diplo and Switch, has just released a remix of “Don’t Play No Game That I Can’t Win,” a track from Beastie Boys’ latest album Hot Sauce Committee Part Two. The dub cut features Santigold, a regular collaborator for both members of the dancehall-electro-reggae fusion project. The remix infuses a slightly harder reggaeton and percussive feel to the already hype tune, creating a perfect companion for summer dance floors. Listen to the track below.

In other Major Lazer news, Switch will be performing at this year’s 618 Fest, taking place this Saturday (June 18th) at the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing. The “electronically flavored music and arts festival” will feature 10+ hours of hip-hop and electronic music, in conjunction with plenty of interactive art and activities. Highlights will include a 60-foot graffiti wall with pros painting all day, sponsorship by Pabst Blue Ribbon, and all-day integrated performances by Sergio Flores, aka YouTube sensation the Sexy Sax Man.

The hip-hop portion of the 618 lineup will take place during the day, with Shwayze, Gilbere Forte, local Tayyib Ali, and more slated to perform until 5pm. Then, the electro takes over with Switch, Autoerotique, rapidly rising star Porter Robinson, the Cataracs and others playing until 10pm. Tickets are available for $49.50 (fees included for all prices); when you buy with 5 or more people, they go down to $42 each. VIP tickets with hookah lounge access and complimentary drinks and refreshments are $79. There is also an option to buy an electro-only ticket for admission after 5pm, which costs $38. All tickets can be found here. —Claire Fishkow
