An XPN favorite indie rock band from Los Angeles, Local Natives just shared a new video for the opening track of their sophomore album, Hummingbird. On this second record — released by Frenchkiss Records/Infectious Music in late January — the group offers a contemplative tone and diverse instrumentation. Featuring the falsetto of Taylor Rice and an organ in the background, “You & I” exemplifies the new approach.
