Les Professionnels remix Nicos Gun’s “Dirty Girl”

Philly-based dance-punk outfit Nicos Gun released their full-length record Plush in December of 2011, and it featured the Prince-y opening track “Dirty Girl.” Fast forward a couple of years, and it seems about time that the song gets a little reboot, courtesy of none other than fellow Philly-natives, Les Professionnels. The newly remixed “Dirty Girls” reinvents the tune in only a way that the self-proclaimed “cosmic voyagers” could.  Featuring the same punch and attitude of the original, while adding a funky new layer of electro-pop, too, Les Professionnels manage to give the song new life, yet are careful not to distract from its original appeal.
