Before heading to Newark’s Mojo on Main this Friday, The Sixties have shared “Jean Jacket” from their upcoming debut album. The new song is a solid alt-rock anthem about feeling not so alive: “I feel like I’ve been wasting life for years”. They express a similar sentiment in “Forgetting Yesterday” where despite not being able to “outrun yesterday”, they still have the energy to move forward. The vocal stylings have classic rock undertones sort of like Queens of the Stone Age. See the Sixties live this Friday (January 24th) at Mojo on Main (tickets here) and at 502 South on February 15th (more details here).
