It’s been over a decade since the legendary Diana Ross played in Philly and she returns to the Mann Center on Wednesday, June 25th. Tickets go on sale on Monday, March 24th at 10 a.m. 2014 is a celebratory year for Ross; her career took off in 1964 when, as lead singer with The Supremes, she hit the charts with “Where Did Our Love Go,” establishing themselves as a hit-making powerhouse with five number one songs in row, and a career that lasted six years until 1970 when Ross released her self-titled debut album. While it’s been 50 years since she debuted with The Supremes, Ross also celebrates her 70th birthday on March 26th. There’s no doubt this evening will be filled with great songs and memories from one of the greatest singers of our time.
