Tonight’s Concert Picks: Mirah at Johnny Brenda’s, John Legend at Verizon Hall, Helms Alee at Boot and Saddle

Fresh off her On the Hill Series session, Philly-born Portland-based acoustic singer/songwriter, Mirah, will play Johnny Brenda’s tonight. After performing live at Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards, John Legend stopped in Philly to give the commencement speech for the 2014 graduating class of UPenn and will perform tonight at night at Verizon Hall.  Legend is currently on his #AllOfMeTour and his album Love In The Future is out now.  Find tickets for tonight’s show here.

Seattle metal trio Helms Alee will perform tonight at the Boot and Saddle.  The band has 3 studio albums including the most recent, Sleepwalking Sailors. They are currently on tour with Louisville, Kentucky trio, Young Widows.  Get tickets for the show tonight here.
