Pretenders’ frontwoman Chrissie Hynde will be coming back to Philadelphia to play Tower Theater November 4th. She released her debut solo album Stockholm with some help from Peter Bjorn and John’s Björn Yttling in June. During her World Cafe Session, the legendary singer songwriter talked about how she got guitarists Neil Young and John McEnroe on the album.  In an interview with USA Today, Hynde also explained that while the album had her name on it, she considers “making this album was more of a collaboration than any Pretenders album ever was.”

Catch Chrissie Hynde at Tower Theater November 4th. Tickets go on sale Thursday, September 11, at 10 a.m.; more details about the show can be found at the XPN Concert Calendar. Listen to the dark glamor of “Dark Sunglasses” from Stockholm below.
