Philadelphia’s Curly Castro is preparing for his next full-length project, and after listening to the brand new “David Rodigan (Arckatron Remix)” you can see that this MC is not messing around. Arckatron keeps Castro’s fans happy by adding guitar samples to compliment his dope lyrics on this track originally found on the Brody EP.

The remix also accentuates the features of Armand Hammer and Hubbs that make that made this track stand out the first time around. It’s always exciting to hear two or more rappers get on a track together to drop some of the craziest verses you’ve ever heard. Listening to the song is like watching three titans in a triple threat match, battling for the win. Though it’s probably nothing but friendly competition, these three MC’s showed their strengths: Hubbs was the smooth, calm MC, while Armand Hammer delivery was very gritty and probably the most aggressive. Castro’s delivery was interesting because of how animated he makes his voice throughout the song. Each of these three MC’s gave you a sweet sixteen, with a style their own.

Hopefully Curly Castro will have more collaborations like this on his next album. Seems like he will: he’s making Restroy & Debuild with with Fakts One, and the first single, “Emmet Still,” features vocals from Margel the Sophant of this week’s Key Studio Session artists Sëla.
